Fertility and thin women-what are the problems, it's better to be overweight or underweight

Being overweight or underweight affect fertility? OF COURSE!

For hundreds of years, fertility in women is represented by prominent and large stomach and Mons pubis as well as full breasts breasts. However, many women today are driven by society to keep slim and sexy body that is defined by the seductive curves of models and celebrities. Many times, this undermines their ability to get pregnant later.

Contrary to common belief, it’s not just overweight that can affect female fertility. Both are underweight and overweight creates adverse effects on fertility. You believe that the level of weight influences the level of production of hormones in the body that regulate ovulation and pregnancy as progesterone and estrogen.

Being underweight means that a woman’s body mass index (BMI) reaches the normal BMI level which is between 18.5 and 24.9. On the other hand, people are considered overweight if their body mass index exceeds the upper limit. If the BMI of a person goes beyond 30, he or she is considered to be obese. As research shows, obese people are less likely to conceive.

Statistics revealed that underweight pregnant women are five times at risk of having children underweight. Also, not being an underweight, women increase their chances of having healthy children by five times. In one study, it was discovered that 75% of underweight women who decided to put on weight actually have conceived.

According to research, fertility problems are more likely to occur in lean women than women. Some thin women are not menstruating. Some are having menses, but they don’t ovulate. Some women are menstruating and Ovulating still are having a hard time conceiving. In some cases, menstruation, women ovulate and conceive but soon they experience difficulty in sustaining the pregnancy up to the end.

Underweight women usually have irregular cycles. In cases severely underweight, can completely stop menstruation. In some cases, it may also prevent ovulation. In addition to irregular cycles, it is said that underweight women produce low levels of the hormone estrogen, which negatively affect fertility in women.

With irregular cycles, women are less likely to conceive. Research shows that the irregularity of menstrual cycle negatively affects the lining of the uterus, making it less able to support a fetus. Even though the conception takes place, underweight women are more likely to have a miscarriage due to the inability of the uterus to create a suitable and ideal for the fetus to grow. The fertilized egg usually takes thick Uterine lining to support fetal growth.

Recent research has shown that the reproductive technology and the availability of reproductive drugs can help women conceive, however, this technology is less likely to face problems with the uterine lining thin and inadequate. In some cases, can only lead to miscarriage because your uterus is less able to support the growth and development of the fetus.

Observing a healthy diet to improve your weight level is important to increase the chances of a woman getting pregnant. Maintaining a healthy weight level, significantly reduce the risk of pre-term birth and low birth weight. Maintaining a health body size and weight, give your child a chance to have the best of health.

It is believed that women are required to reach certain levels of critical mass in order to get pregnant. Sufficient amount of fat in the body can trigger the menarche which may indicate that the body is ready for pregnancy. The amount of fat in the body is one of the most important factors that determine the ability of the body to support the growth of the fetus.

On the other hand, being overweight affects ovulation, which in turn, can also affect fertility. Thicker, overweight women have extra fat tissue that can lead to excessive production of estrogen. Increased production of estrogen can cause a hormonal imbalance that can adversely affect the process of ovulation.

Overweight women have high levels of fat cells produce estrogen, which triggers the pituitary gland to prevent the production of a follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). These hormones are responsible for the future of ovulation. In addition, overweight level is associated with conditions of insulin resistance and polycystic ovary syndrome that can cause fertility problems later.
